Discussion Questions & Answers

Following are our answers based on the questions provided:

Q.1. How are we changed by love? Use evidence from this text, your own experience, and other literature or art in your answer.
Ans: We are changed by love not only physically but in all aspects of our lives – our character, personality, ways of living, our whole being; so that we can give ourselves fully and unconditionally for the one we love no matter what the cost, despite all sacrifices, sufferings, and even betrayal.
“When you’re with someone who makes you feel that loved and happy, happiness exudes from your aura. Love changes us”
Love transforms us. It can lead us to some very dark places in our lives, but it can also lead us to a much brighter path. It’s always been an overwhelming feeling of bliss and freedom when I’m in love. When we are with someone we love it is very evident because our aura shows it up as love lights up in our souls.
Here are some changes we can notice when people are in love:
– Love Deactivates Their Fear Of Social Judgment
– They feel addicted
– They’ll Feel “High” On Love
– Judgment Is Impaired

Q.2. In the context of this poem, what does it mean to feel alone? Cite evidence from this text, your own experience, and other literature or art in your answer.
Ans: Feeling alone is having a sense of longing to be with someone you love or someone you wanna be with. It can happen anywhere, even when you are alone or in a great crowd.
“Feeling alone can happen anywhere. It is not the same as physically being alone”
Feeling alone can occur anywhere. Loneliness, on the other hand, does not always correspond with physically being alone. In fact, we can often spend time alone with ourselves without feeling lonely. In contrast, we can be in a crowd of people and still feel alone. Loneliness is a common emotion that most people experience on occasion. However, if you find yourself feeling lonely all the time, loneliness may become a problem in your life. When this happens, loneliness can cause stress, depression, and other potentially harmful health effects.
